Trading off technical chart is an art and not a given regardless of tools and strategies employed.
Trend lines IMO unconsciously train the trader to be counter trend or top/bottom picking.
Trend lines makes it difficult to place stops or work out risk reward etc
These are some of the reasons I do not use them NOR do I use math indicators/wave counting/harmonic patterns/MA etc.

Wrong, Lehman, Merril, Citi and a few more surely made a lot from their CDS and MBS? They took bazooka to a fight then realise they pointed it at an WMD (Weapon of mass destruction). They only thing the banks knew was Moral Hazards.

Yes in case you miss it, Moral Hazards. regarding the Banks. Brokers are like used car salesman, bankers, lawyers or pollies. The only time you believe what comes out of their mouths is "I am guilty" standing in front to he Judge otherwise they'll sell you their grandma and tell you how great they are. I suppose your boasting says it all. You made so much money that you have to convic me how great those trendlines are. If I were you I'll just concentrate on those opportunities I am missing swinging from that tight corner.
