Hi George, I was looking for stuff on market making, came across this guy Michael! for the last 10 days i have been going over his youtube channel. Following his advice to just check his stuff out (not trading) just testing his stuff. Wish I had found him a long time ago, I can relate to what he his teaching and I have the two books he recommends, so I'm in

Hey All, I have been following ICT for about 7 months. My experience is that he really teaches the market and the business overall. I have used his teachings for over year though. Many and I mean many people learn from Michael and then repackage his stuff as their own. After studying him, I can now listen to others and know they got their stuff from him. He is not boring, but he is very talkative and goes off topic many times, but if you listen closely, you will still learn more when he goes off topic. I think he has really helped me improve.
I have trained in my demo account and now feel strongly about going live again. I had to come back to demo to fine tune some of my impulses. I was winning and giving back. Now, after listening to Michael and studying his teaching, I see the market differently and I am more consistent with growing my demo account. I also trade less.
Finally, I say listen to him daily and watch the different videos, by doing so I have found my own unique way of looking at the market. I don't follow the OTE (Optional Trade Entry), but I am able to see it and then make my own decisions and analysis. This helps with my execution. I learned more about Asia (its high and low) and how it moves into London. Overall, learn Michaels techniques and he can help you see the markets.

It is good to see that we are inspired by solid mentor, and that is ICT! I am a beginner in this forex market. I would love to share my ideas and brainstorm with you guys about the ICT concepts. If we can select a time to meet in this forum, that would be great! I am looking to grow with you guys!

Just my Two cents, because that is all it is probably all its worth. If beginning, and trying to follow Michael, I would be careful about how much group joining is done. In this game of trading, it is like golf, you have to work on your own swing. You have to find the right way for you to hold the club and find the right swing in your hips. Michael is a great coach. I would watch him non-stop and then spend time in the chart trying to see what he discusses.
Careful with joining groups and talking strategies. This can make it difficult when trading to have so many voices in your head when the emotions kick in. Trust me they kick-in big time when money is on the line--regardless of how small. I am going to opt-out of doing any discord or group chat. I will respond to direct questions here and try to provide some direction, if I can. But, I don't want any other voices in my head outside of Michael.
Recommendations:
1. Watch the videos
2. Go into the charts. Try to train your eye to see what Michael teaches.
3. Do the exercises-Print out the 30 days on a chart/timeframe and review as Michael states.
I found a set-up I was not even looking for when doing this and I am testing this set-up once per week. It has been consistent so far.
4. Repeat 1-3
Be like a golfer working on his swing, or the NBA star in the gym alone working on his free throws.

He likes to wander off topic but zone out and you will likely miss an absolute gem he drops. You can do very well off his free content alone if studied and practiced.

I thought ICT is a quite good trading concepts and methods, but there are more and more identical channels and content appearing on the market. Are they all plagiarism?
And I am not sure whether everyone has the same concept, and it is difficult to judge whether their trading analysis is correct.
