i don't just mean being mad about losing money or whatever, but actually hate how goddamn boring and unpredictable the whole pursuit is?

Boring trading = expert trading.

Also I thought TGG was bragging about his trading yesterday?

On a more serious note, I suspect that Trading is the least of your issues.

I know, there is no hope anymore. It was all for nothing.

At least you all got to see me fall apart. Maybe that will aid your trading careers in some way.

If you're not trolling and you are quitting, then post your risk management system so we can learn from you.

If you've only risked 1-2% per trade, how can you have such huge losses that make you want to quit?

We know that's not true. The hardest part to utilizing ICT principles, is just waking up that early. I always feel like the NY open is mid-story, though I trade it. In an ideal world the trading day for me would start at 3:00 am - Ouch.

Hey man, I feel like quitting pretty often too. Yea it's so much dry info that I can't think of a single person close to me that could handle it. Maybe you make enough from your career that trading isn't worth it? Not so in my case. Hoping you stick with it brother.

I'm working on the "find new friends" angle, personally. Gotta have people you can chat with life about. ;)

Same here sqa. Like they say, you are who you associate with. I need to "upgrade".. part of the reason I'm here now ;)

Suppose I keep forgetting how privileged I am trading from a GMT+8 timezone, not to mention the weather.

I don't think you & others understand what I was saying. I WANT to quit, I hate this job. But it is my job. This is how I earn my living, I can't quit like you can't quit your job.

ICT knew this would happen to some of us, maybe he is smiling right now about this. You get to where you think you'll be happy... and lo and behold you're not...

Then what?

better alternatives than that. There are good reason for the Chinese, who can, wanting out.

Hong Kong isn't that bad, right? What about Singapore? I hear it's healthily capitalist.

Since you're doing so well, put away the forums, books and go fishing, hunting, boating, whatever else. Take your trades for the week (you mentioned 40-50 pips/wk) and then go enjoy the rest of your time.

Most people don't like their jobs, TGG. I run a software business, and at the beginning I loved programming - I no longer do, but I've become an 'expert' at it so I do it.

Mastery isn't about having fun.

This is how I view the world from my Timezone. Note that LO is currently 4pm Perth time.

You can see all the other TZ as well. Must he hard trading LO from NY at 3am.

Today I added the ICT TruDay, which is the red outline box, hence my trading day (TruDay) starts at 1pm, so can start after a good lunch or a morning swim in the surf.

lol can always count on rod178 to rub it in...

but to the others, please don't waste any of your time giving logical solutions to my problems. there's a myriad of emotional problems that I live with every day that you simply can't help me with.

Gunner'

Actually, my previous post was in no way related to yourself or a response to your posts.

Below is the most recent TruDay on H1 Cable. Does anyone remember the TV series Tru Blood?
