;)Learn 99.9% of your time Trade .1% of your time is now going to be my new motto lol ;)
Thanks Dan :hail:

Trading less is a common misconception. When youre learning you should trade a lot not a little, you should be hitting the buy/sell button as much as is humanly possible, in a structured way that is, to learn the dynamics of price swings.

As you progress, probability will force you to trade less. This should be done on a demo account of course. I learnt this from Chris Lori.

when learning I believe it best to trade at 10c per pip. Real money (however small) means real results, real emotions, real slippage and real pain.

Just a keepalive post... ;)

It is seasonally dead... time was it used to move 60-80 pips a session, maybe even 100. Now were seeing 50?

Dont worry, I dont see how anyone could have anticipated the FOMC move.

I mean, a Gap down followed by a double reversal!? Trying to trade that truly is gambling in my book.

Im glad I cleared the table before the announcement, I think that was also their objective, given the range was so neat; withdraw bids and offers creating a 100 pip range, wait for price to fill the gap.. Like the power going down in a casino.

A classic ICT setup for FOMC - on USD/CHF - less spikey on US news.

Expectancy was a mention of taper, bullish usd - pre the news release run a fib from the current low (made on Tue), to the most recent high on Wed.
Set buy limit at OTE (8850), with a stop below the Tue low of 30 pips, TP 90pips.

Or just go long at LO, stop 25, TP 75 ----- USD/CHF .. not bad for trading news on USD :)

Did not want to break any copyrights etc. reference Moore Research, so here is a link to open charts -

http://www.seasonalcharts.com/classic_usdindex.html

Have checked against Moore's charts and they seem to agree - not sure if this is what you mean.
