MetaQuotes seems more interested in pushing their 'value' added (ticket clipping) services

eg from the above link on the build 735 update "A virtual server for a trading account can now be rented right from the client terminal."

Has anyone been upgraded to build 735? Maybe instability issues with that build, refer http://forum.mql4.com/65198, are making Brokers reluctant to roll it out.

same here. Odd thing is that I am no longer having memory leak issue with build 711, which were similar to those previously widely reported on the MQL4 forum, although no longer it seems. Maybe something was tweaked at the server end for those Brokers still running build 711.

I'm still on 711, although can now seem to be able to leave running for at least 48hrs without suffering a memory leak.

I'm starting to wonder how much QA work MetaQuotes does between releases. Lately it's been pretty bad.

Seems that we, the end users, are the beta testers.

Seems that my original statment that I was no longer having memory leak issue, build 711, was incorrect.

Seems that executing multiple orders triggers the problem, after MT4 has been running for over 12 hours. Only a PC reboot seems to clear the memory. ie not just restarting MT4.

Forex LTD was just updated with build 745, that's the 4th update since the release of 7xx builds.

    More to come. I've tested 711, 735, and 745. There was also available 736, 737 and 738.

Build 745 seems less prone to memory leaks than either 711 or 735, although still to early to state that I trust it. Build 711 was unusable and never should have been released.

    Re: Multiple Instances MT4

Im looking to run multiple instances of MT4 build 745 to speed up back testing using the same installation folder if possible. The idea is to use the same hst/fxt files. Does anyone know if it can be done?

Suspect not, at least not without some significant coding workarounds, say to share the one hst/fxt files between different instances.

They dont have to be shared concurrently, just in the same folder for convenience, if possible that is. Any workaround would be acceptable, as long as it saves time by running more than one instance..
