The following Personality Test may provide some assistance to traders out there...

It's a personality test devised by Carl Jung & Isabelle Briggs Myer.

May just help with the psychological puzzle of trading... ( & life )

    INTP

Which is the same result I usually get when I take tests like this (some versions of this test land me on INTJ, which I also relate with when I read up on each profile, but INTP is what I get most often and on the version of the test that Alpha linked, so I stick with that.)..

There are some nice write-up on each personality type here:

    http://www.personalitypage.com/html/portraits.html

It's funny how my result hasn't changed over the years since I first started doing little tests like this (must have been way back in high school when I first took one,) even though I'm guessing my answers would be different now vs what I probably would have answered way back then.

Side thought: I try my best to answer tests like this as honest with myself as possible (..else what's the point?) But I wonder how many people do these sorts of tests answering like the person they 'want' to be, instead of who they are...

    Honesty is the best policy.

If a trader answers a personality test to obtain the "status" of the person they want to be, instead of who they are, well... we know the market never lies.
