I am trying to configure the ICT Killzones indicator to my time. I am not sure what to put as the opening times and closing times. If anyone could give me the times they use and the timezone I can convert it myself. Thank-you!
Kris, ict has joined the merry band that charge for what they say, so most guys here have little time for mention of 'ict' indicators.
The reality is that the 'zones' are session times, so remembering that the market is merely made up of us humans with our predictable habits, we sleep, awaken and eat our lunch at predictable times, or 'zones' if you prefer.
First liquid time is the European, then the Yanks awaken and join, whilst the UK guys head to lunch, then they come back at 2.00pm (UK) and everybody is singing from the same hymn sheet until around 4.00pm and the UK guys head for home - except on a Friday, then they like to skulk off early to the pub.
After that, or before - whilst all these guys are sleeping or eating or drinking or whatever, the Asian guys are plying their trade, problem is that there is not enough of them and the algos hide in the shadows.
(recently encountered a long term trader who lost on GBP, Oct 7 to be precise, check the time of that move, then again another who complained that his broker was bad - it was on CHF on Dec 30, again caused by EUR during all the snoring)
