ICT, I recognize that you are saying the dance is to serve yourself, but all dances need a partner - if the waltz, perhaps one of the more closest dances, is simply to satisfy a curiosity within, then think of the implications on your dance partner.
Many of these partners are just starting out, they are eager, keen and can I suggest perhaps a little gullible. The last thing most such dancers need is to be part of an 'audience'.
We pass onto our children, and in my case our grandchildren, many things, some good, some not so good - my focus is that it will always be on the positive side.
