Is trading your main source of income?

I'm just curious to know if most of the other members here are trading full-time or part time. Does anyone here work a typical job and trade on the side, or is trading 100% your main focus? Anybody have anything going on on the side, like freelance work or other projects? Just asking out of curiosity!
 
I trade part-time and still do some writing gigs on Upwork. I think knowing that I'm not fully reliant on the trading income makes me a more conservative trader than an aggressive one. I could either swing trade or scalp on days I'm off work.
 
I always have multiple things going on as you simply can't rely on forex for income. But in any case even if I didn't trade I'd have multiple income streams as the idea of being reliant on a single source frankly scares the s*** out of me.

Same here! Trading is my main focus but it's always good to have some other things going on on the sidelines as well.

What kind of things do you write about on there, or is it just different projects? I've been looking into gigs on Fiverr but haven't checked out Upwork yet.
 
Hi there guys Forex is my business apart from it there is nothing. No side income...I rely on my everyday loss and wins and make sure I make profit
 
I trade part-time with a full time job. I have a set and forget strategy I am trying to perfect in order to eventually take on Prop firm funding in the future.
 
I am looking for this to me my main source to get me out the 9-5. Countdown 24 months. I am currently on a savings binge to have good buffer. Also, plan to be in Prop before exit time to add those funds to savings as well.

That would be my tactics regarding prop firms. I don't need that much to live so use the extra to load up a personal account and savings so I have a buffer.

Yo! We can do this. There are too many others living the life we should have. We gotta work out the psychology and execution. After that sky is the limit. It is attainable and prop can really set us up.
 
I agree. Capital is the thing lacking for most traders. Get your trading right and then scale up. The hurdle is psychology as you say and it takes work.
 
It's a side source of income.
I hope it will be my main however I use other passive income streams and do delivery work which is flexible pays well too
