Help with margin/ leverage small account

Hi Im having trouble figuring out out to grow my small accoun. I see videos of people taking $50 or $100 and making hundreds sometimes thousands in a matter of a few trades. But I can’t seem to get that kind of profit when I put my order in even if I risk the whole 100 it says I don’t have enough margin. I’m using 50:1 leverage but when I adjust my risk it says I don’t have enough margin. Is there certain pairs that I can only trade? I like GBPJPY but I can’t seem to get my reward to be more than a few dollars even if I risk 30 or 40 dollar. I’ve playking around trying to figure it out but I’m stuck. I know that I have to be able to take the 200$ and n my account and make more then 5 $ or 6$ per trade. But it won’t let me even enter the trade because it says I don’t have enough margin even though I have more than enough for what I put in for risk. I hope I explained my question well enough any help would be much appreciate. Thanks

If you have a good strategy and psychology, maybe you should try a free challenge with a prop firm. If you pass, use the $200.00 to buy the challenge and get the capital you need. Just a thought.
 
You're looking at it in $$$ terms too much. Let's say you take a trade that goes 3% your way and let's say that equals $30. That's the same win as someone with an account 100 times bigger than you taking the same risk and making $3000. Stop trying to make $ and focus on making %. And ffs stop risking all your margin. 1-2% risk is all you need. Stop being impatient and greedy.
