Have you learned anything from ICT?
I have been around a long time learning trading, I have read lots and seen lots of so called guru’s touting their wares, from next to nothing to massive amounts of money.
I read lots on forums sites as well, just to see what is out there.
I have learned great may things but have always had a hard time digesting the written technical stuff. (Learning disorder)
What drew me to Ict was his way of explaining things through his videos and chat rooms.
I filled in an amazing amount of gaps in the way I process things.
What I really admire is that Michael is donating his time and knowledge to us all, the hours and hours of video, forum and twitter feeds all for the price of nothing…free... no cost.
I do follow some of his teachings and methods but I have developed my own way of doing things, as he wants people to do, don’t follow him exactly but use his way to make you own trading style.
By giving of his time and knowledge to us he seems to attract nothing but trolls who attack him for not delivering the Holy Grail without them having to work or think for it.
Something for nothing is worthless, but if you pay big money for the same thing then they figure that it must be gold.
Reminds me ….I remodeled my kitchen, and had a perfectly good stove and fridge, so I figured someone could us it. I put it on the curb with a sign saying “good working condition, free, take them away” they sat there for days and no one took them.
So I put a sign up fore sale $ 200. The next morning they were gone, some one took them.
I guess the moral of the story is, Something for Nothing must be no good. But if I have to pay for it must be good, and worth taking.
So have any of you learned anything positive from ICT that you have used in your own trading style? Simple question did you learn something for nothing, except your time?
I would like to thank Michel for all his effort in trying to get us to understand how to thing for ourselves to better our understanding of Forex.
Thanks. End of rant
