Have you learned anything from ICT?
I have been around a long time learning trading, I have read lots and seen lots of so called guru’s touting their wares, from next to nothing to massive amounts of money.
I read lots on forums sites as well, just to see what is out there.
I have learned great may things but have always had a hard time digesting the written technical stuff. (Learning disorder)
What drew me to Ict was his way of explaining things through his videos and chat rooms.
I filled in an amazing amount of gaps in the way I process things.
What I really admire is that Michael is donating his time and knowledge to us all, the hours and hours of video, forum and twitter feeds all for the price of nothing…free... no cost.
I do follow some of his teachings and methods but I have developed my own way of doing things, as he wants people to do, don’t follow him exactly but use his way to make you own trading style.
By giving of his time and knowledge to us he seems to attract nothing but trolls who attack him for not delivering the Holy Grail without them having to work or think for it.
Something for nothing is worthless, but if you pay big money for the same thing then they figure that it must be gold.
Reminds me ….I remodeled my kitchen, and had a perfectly good stove and fridge, so I figured someone could us it. I put it on the curb with a sign saying “good working condition, free, take them away” they sat there for days and no one took them.
So I put a sign up fore sale $ 200. The next morning they were gone, some one took them.
I guess the moral of the story is, Something for Nothing must be no good. But if I have to pay for it must be good, and worth taking.

So have any of you learned anything positive from ICT that you have used in your own trading style? Simple question did you learn something for nothing, except your time?
I would like to thank Michel for all his effort in trying to get us to understand how to thing for ourselves to better our understanding of Forex.

Thanks. End of rant

I wouldn't say he attracts nothing but trolls..he gets a fair bit of attention both good and bad, not just trolls. Just that the trolls are obviously (as expected of trolls) more vocal about it. Plenty of good tweets from other people positive about ICTs teachings.

Some people really need to grow up, if they don't like the FREE material, they should write a post or two on construtive criticism on why and move on. Instead they have nothing better to do than continually attacking. If you don't like the stuff just ignore it, it's not like you got conned into paying for it why bother wasting your efforts. Just negative jealous people I guess.

Personally I've learnt a great deal and am continuing the study which I utilize in my own trading.

Sorry, to say that he attracts nobody but Trolls, just they seems they come out of nowhere to attack anyone with something positive to say. There are lots of " Good People" out there.

At a functional level, once someone "gets it", they tend to go radio silent. It's been a noticeable trend over the past year. So the "Troll Volume" vs the volume of his other students tends to be very disproportionate. It's just the nature of it all.

I think is probably the best tuition you are going to get, there is some others out there? probably, yes, are doing what Michael did and do? I don't think for free.

Hours and hours of videos lessons, are really worth lots and lots of money and time, he could hire an internet marketer, create a product, etc, etc, an create a great income, without risk, getting money in his bank account month after month, without put any dollar at risk or on the line on a trade.

I fill blessed to have meet Michael teaching, never posted much on forums, etc. when I was looking for methods and things to learn, and now that I am 100% more confident, in my trading, dont fill the need either.

Who says that what he teach his not a good way to see at the market, should explain it, is the only way? dont think so, but is one that make sense for me and probably for many others.

@Sqa because those people are not focused on trading....

That's... pretty much all that I needed to say Lol.

Agreed. There's no point in talking any further if you have complete confidence in what you are doing.

Sometimes it feels lonely, I suspect.

Put the effort in
Watch every video on his site at least 3 or more times
Discover your potential
Turn trading from exciting to boring because you now know your edge and trade it with confidence.

Most important thing I learned from ICT
Do to others what you would have wanted done to you.
He teaches for free and only asks for your success story so he knows he is improving lives.
Its a good thing too because If he charged money I would have gave up on his teaching before I understood it.
The fact he put out so much material at no financial gain to himself shows me that he wants to help for free which is rare in this world.
That alone gave me the determination to make sure I fully understood his teaching before judging any of it.

I spent 1 year 40 hours a week studying, testing , and watching his videos and it has made all the difference in my trading. Can't say what it will do for you but I would do it again if I had a student that wanted to learn from me for free.

I think the silence comes from being scared, scared that you might be onto something very real, so you start to manage it better & more...
something that is not normal in life, trading fx for a living.
How many people do you know personally in life, that trade for a living, for themselves
or anyone that knows someone that trades for a living themselves.
I trade for a living as I am a living trader, not scared to take advantage of the real knowledge that has been put before us.
Use it with respect, and you might just be rewarded in time, for your efforts...
Keep on trading 8)
