Forex or Stock trading?

Choosing between Forex and Stock trading depends on one's risk tolerance, market knowledge, and trading goals. Forex offers high liquidity, 24-hour markets, and low starting capital, making it appealing to short-term traders. Stocks, on the other hand, offer greater company-specific and sector-focused investment opportunities, which might be more appealing to those with a long-term investment strategy. Your decision should be based on your financial objectives, available resources, and comfort with the respective market dynamics.

As a novice trader who finds stock trading more appealing, I would choose stock trading. It resonates with me due to its connection with individual companies and their long-term value potential. I appreciate the stability that established companies can offer, along with the opportunity to diversify across different sectors

I used to trade stocks in the 90's.

Forex is better but US indices are way better imo than all of these. I am deeply in love with Nasdaq in particular.

I trade naked charts and the price action of stocks is not normally as good as other assets.

Besides, it is harder to find a reasonable service to trade stocks if I compare it to the futures markets.

When it comes to picking between Forex and stock trading, think about what suits you best. Forex is good for short-term traders because it has lots of trading and is open all the time. But it can be tricky because you need to know a lot about the world's economy. Stock trading is about investing in individual companies for the long term, which can be more stable. Choose what you're comfortable with; if you like fast changes, go for Forex. If you prefer sticking with companies and their growth, try stock trading. Remember, no matter what you choose, learn, plan, and be careful with your money.
