Anyone looked at Activtrades?

They have negative balance protection as well as client money protection up to 500k instead of the typical 50k.

They seem to have good spreads, are FCA regulated, offer CFD and spread betting but they are a market maker.

They also claim no requotes, have their headquarters in the UK, use the same auditors as larger brokers like IG Group.

They offer the MT4 and MT5 platform. I haven't seen anyone reporting issues with depositing and withdrawals and theres no unreasonable fees.

In other forums people have reported issues with execution but this is only on the MT4 platform.

Again I'd like to know who does or has traded with them in the past as I'm considering this broker.

I haven't traded with them but they're on my shortlist for a broker to open a live account with.

However, one major reason for this, to me, was because they're NDD (https://www.activtrades.co.uk/index.aspx?page=ouradvantages_strengths). Where did you get the MM information from/have I misunderstood?

Otherwise, agreed re FCA (checks out on FCA website too), no requotes, UK HQ, spreads, and I like their seeming transparency. Overall company numbers look okay too, with relatively low liabilities on a percentage basis.

If not ActivTrades I think I'll go with IG Index, just because the size and establishment is there, that I feel I can trust my money being with them.

Edit: Just seen this post on IG Index... We're over a year on, but maybe I'll have a rethink! http://fxgears.com/forum/index.php/topic,209.0.html
