Scout Sniper Basic Field Guide - InnerCircleTrader

FTMO Trader Scouting
Hey man, this is my advice, stop looking at the indicators, and just put the lines in for the Kill zones yourself, also, just study these areas yourself, some ingenuity is required, because this is half an art and half a science, the indicators i think are most important, are the asian ranges, and possibly pivots/trinity levels, this is all i really use, other than order blocks, and OTE zones, they work very well, again i am no where near perfect, but doing a lot better than i was before i found ICT, he gives a lot of "hints" in his videos that i think many evade to see...open your eyes and ears, and really pay attention to some of the things he says...become Sherlock Holmes...

i do not bother with indicators any more. i am trying my best to use S&R lines, the bias of the trend, these range set ups and take it from there... i am going through these series as a stalker, assessing each part in the video countless times making notes and everything else! its crazy my end of the screen...

What Time Zone are you in to begin with? Advice is a little different if it's "go to bed early" or "get up later".

Well, firstly, the kill zones are actually a lot shorter than those time periods, normally. 7-9 GMT for LO, 12-14 GMT for NYO. If you're in the GMT Time Zone, then you just need to be up for them.

The only people that run into problems, really, are if you live in the -7 to -10 Time Zones. Basically, Arizona USA & South, then West until you hit Fiji. Past that, it's not that hard to adjust your schedule. Either get up earlier or stay up a little later, depending on where you live & your schedule.

the gmt times go back and fourth an hour depending on the seasons, at the moment these time frames fit because its summer and the days are longer

Traders get "screen envy", I think. :)

Realistically, you're not going to need more than 2. The reason for the mass of monitors is that professional traders like to see a lot of pairs at once. But they also like to over do it with the monitors. It's also likely that most of them can't really process information from more than 2 anyway. But they can leave it all up on a screen.

Think like leaving a Tab open in a web browser. It's just far more expensive and makes you "look better".

Depends on the person; sometimes its envy for to stroke e-peens, sometimes it's realistic like they have multiple quotes news feeds etc, sometimes it's for goofing off. I have two setup types first one is a simple 1 screen for charting and execution and the other for goofing off, second one is 4 monitors although I only use 3 mostly I have 1 for pure execution one for viewing more quotes no charts one for charts and fourth is empty or for web surfing.

it sounds like having many screens is not needed in a way, have a few currencies and master them, which will mean one screen will be enough
