Nice! :D

Being able to reassess a trade, change your mind, then change direction, all the while not caring if that involves taking a loss on the original trade, is a hugely valuable skill for traders. Most people get their ego invested in the first trade, and refuse to get out at a loss even if the market is showing all the signs that the trade won't work out.

Or, as my first manager would say: "The market needs to just 'go', it doesn't care if you got a better price or not."

I had a few short scalps leading into the drop but wasn't awake for the strong move down.

Great to see this site continues on an upwards trajectory as regards membership and quality of posting.

Looking forward to hitting the screens refreshed after a great holiday.

As traders we walk the tightrope of confidence and humility.

All traders are wired differently. I find I perform best and feel best with quality time spent away from the flashing numbers. Always in the knowledge that the markets will be there to provide for my needs when I return.

Have a great weekend and a great trading week.

Cheers

Documented trades are sub par.

Holiday time..... lol 8)

I often feel frustrated after a series of cruddy punts.. It took a while to get good at identifying when I was feeling flustered, but once I had, it was always best to take a break instead of taking another trade. Staying in tune with myself in this respect has saved me from a lot of shitty outcomes.

Besides, feeling refreshed going into new trades is always better. :)

The two losing trades are not sub par because they lost they were just two terrible trades. Playing in consolidation zones.
Scalping I hit profit 85% time so conceivable I have 13 more consecutive losses awaiting me :)

Edit: Spelling.
