I put my cat's mouse toy under a laundry basket, so that he can see it but can't actually reach it. He's very frustrated, and keeps circling the basket. He could push it over with his weight, it is very light, but his tiny cat brain can't figure it out.

Yeah guys you're all so stewpid (<--part of the joke)

By now can't we all just agree that no one is going to post up a damn MyFxbook lol

In an "industry" filled with 99% of people either losing money or scamming others out of money isn't it obvious this is just a pointless argument to making such a big deal over. No one here is a bank trader or hedge fund manager or multi-billion dollar trader , if we were , would we be hanging out on Internet forums arguing like school girls???? Nope..

Oh and if you a hedge fund manager or making tons of money in FX , can you post up a MyFxbook for verification >:D

This discussion is futile and boring. Hopefully the people involved will open a new thread out of respect for this one.

SLT, thanks for trying to share something positive.

To be honest Mike, the stuff you posted says exactly what i've said. But that doesn't really matters. This is a pretty pointless argument anyway, i know you can trade well since you could be described as my 1st mentor, and i was succesfully trading linear s/r with market flow (yup the curtains are down). Some of the guys here know the reason for my absence, and in this adventure i'm seeing and experiencing a lot that's effecting. Maybe instead of dickmeasuring and pissing tall in the grass, those who know something and have the power, should try and inspire to make this place better. I can agree with Deco to a point that this is idiotic. To be quiet frankly honest igaf anymore whos "better". But also remember Mike, when you take up the torch to lead and show the way, well you are kinda making a commitment, since if you don't hold that shit up, your followers will be in the dark for the so sought knowledge. And for you guys, the stuff he shared even in the 1st year is more then enough. The answer is in your head and reaching the level where you can go ho forward on your own. The certainity that you look for, does not exists. Even the 95%'ers missing it 5% of the time. You won't be assured no matter what you do that the next one won't be a loser. That's the curse and the side that will always leave this discipline interesting, and a challange to learn and become better every day. And that's priceless( ah yea, the material gains, independence also can be quiet nice) i never even heard about a profession where you can turn in the shortest ammount of time almost nothing to a fortune. And to try and inspire you I will post after my return(sooner then later.. Miss the game too mcuh :D ) a public real myfx link 1st , probably last and only(no i don't want/need reciprocation from anyone, since it's only goal is to seed some inspiration) i'm gonna do the fx curvebell. Probably. You never know maybe i'll blow it. Thats the beauty of it. But even before that. Since its mostly really in your mind (but a good edge doesnt hurt either ;) ) would suggest to listen to this every morning, evening( i was putting it on repeat sometimes my whole session) and before you turn your console on. Since this is describing it the best from what i know that its going to take:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quqsnn3Wwd0..
Apologies for the hijack Dan..

I wanted to delete that post since what pisses me off is I know you're both not idiots, clearly, so why waste time on that stuff.. here I am less than 2 years into studying, obviously not in a place to call guys like you idiots for real. I really want to figure this out so seeing that kind of back and forth really pissed me off for some reason! Hahah!

Gabe...

Believe it or not, you just jumped a milestone in your development as a Trader.

I know what each and everyone of you feel and think at each of your unique stages of development. To the neophyte or narrowminded - this seems arrogant or self-absorbed but it's founded on truth. I've been right where you are right now.

It's not about being better. It is not about making more. Truth be told I would have traded less to show how a pursuit to out do the counterparty is in actuality a flawed perspective. It elevates the expectations of the Trader to levels not neccessary for profitability.

I can't spend your money and none of you will spend mine... what matters is do each of you know how to extract profits based on your own unique process.

In my haydays as a pompus messageboard (today we call them forums) I played the antogonist. True I was solely focused on me and my own image - routinely measuring myself against everyone that came my way. Looking back it was silly and the definition of "new money".

My image is far less important in my career now. Despite what may look like disregard for my followers and subscribers is in fact the opposite. You see I had a one demension learning experience with my original mentor - Larry Williams. I didn't have what each of you have in me.

I poke and prod you all in directions many times unknowingly by all of you. What looks like me holding you and the rest back is actually me preparing you to do far better than I did and do.

In trials and tests you learn more than in the easy handfed periods. Iron sharpens iron and when you think about it... the teacher is most often silent during the testing periods.

GLGT
Michael

1: Yup.
2: Making an excellent analysis, then panicking mid-trade and bailing, moving my stops, and generally fucking up and turning it into a loser.
3: Oh, I'm gonna make it all right. That's how much I want it.

I was just passing by the forum again and of one thing I was sure, no myfxbooks posted as mentioned long ago.
Guys save all this mess for the markets.
