He is doing it on purpose? Why? Newbies see this in there own accounts anyway. It would be nice to see a professional account that lacks these newbie mistakes.

From what I know of Shopster, let me see if I can make a little sense of the posted picture.

Average Position is 15 lots per "package" (or whatever term you want to use for your basic loading amount). Or 8 lots. I'm not sure if the commissions is fixed or "per-side". :p

While 8 losses were listed, it was functionally only 1 loss. I'm guessing either something crash on the computer/SL didn't get set properly or something gapped weirdly.

If my assumption of this only being from the trading Days in September (to this point) is correct, that means he takes roughly "25" trades per day. Though given that he's mentioned having custom scripts for his position sizes and I imagine he scales in & out, it's probably closer to 5-6 "trades" per day.

Depending on the average lot size, it's either around 5 pips or 10 pips per trade in expectancy. Median profit per trade is likely around $600 USD, which would make my 8 lots per "standard" package make more sense.

This in the ballpark? (I could probably give better numbers, even from that data, if I remembered how to use Set Theory, lol.)

Edit: Hit post early. The most impressive bit is that this is a US-based account. So that's 50:1 Max Leverage.

You've cracked the code.. Here is a typical setup.

DB off the moneyline to the 4.23 extension (joke fail, that's still like 20-30 pips :-\)

Another for clarity

Do you see the power now sqa? Your attempts to defuse Shopster's expression of greatness are futile. We will erect statues in his honor here at fxgears.

Like Piper, I did find that last statement pretty funny. But I'm not a monument builder. :p

Also, I really loathe when the chart ends up being the fat+short bars. My mathematics background screams "that's a scale error, you dingbat!" at me.

I was mostly joking around, hence the goofy charts showing blown up miniscule price action ;D

No mockery or hostility from me, hopefully not taken the wrong way by anyone, not poking fun, just having some fun (Probably all by myself as usual :datass:).

I should put disclaimers on my posts when I'm not being serious. I forget how hard (often impossible) it is to really perceive someone's intent or "tone" through text.

My chief joke of the week has been the ADX, and how it is the secret sauce of trading. >:D

I didn't think you were being serious. :)

The real kicker is that the Shopster we see posting here, isn't even him. It's actually part of his algorithm. It comes on the forum once in awhile and posts some Shop-like stuff and its results. He has the entire game automated 8)
