ICT Forexmas 2014 / Market Maker Series

Well Sqa, I have the MPC-HC and the CCCP codec/MPC-HC installer pack all installed and running...

Totally satified. It runs like a charm!
I have set the View/Options menu and I have checked the (Remember last window option) as I am often taken away from my ICT viewing as life tends to get in the way, and it is really nice to pick-up where I left off without any fuss....

Thanks mate for your detailed description...

Cheers!
Tony

...VLC is awesome for its general ability to play anything, but I like to have my system running most effectively.

Hence I am a little surprised that VLC seems to be the only player (I use) that fails to play (using VLC Codec pack) on this occasion.

vlc works just fine

Code:
$ vlc --version
VLC media player 2.1.6 Rincewind (revision 2.1.6-0-gea01d28)
VLC version 2.1.6 Rincewind (2.1.6-0-gea01d28)

running an ancient version here. plays the newest video fine...

must be a windows issue then. just built 2.2.1, works fine with that video...

Code:
vlc-2.2.1 % ./bin/vlc-static --version
VLC media player 2.2.1 Terry Pratchett (Weatherwax) (revision 2.2.1-0-ga425c42)
VLC version 2.2.1 Terry Pratchett (Weatherwax) (2.2.1-0-ga425c42)

Fighting the ubuntu hype? :p

haha! I've been a Debian man long before Ubuntu hit the scene ;)

Debian on my netbook (and on all my home machines before I switched to Gentoo), Fedora at work (unfortunately [RPM sucks]), Gentoo since 2007 on my machines at home.

Nice nice. I've never messed w/ Debian, I'm envious. I was into Slackware and Fedora a long time ago, but now I guess I've gotten lazy with Ubuntu ???

I should setup Gentoo sometime.

Anyone have a recording for Friday's session they can upload?

I didn't take notes, but ICT was mostly just dealing with newbie stuff. Then Fiber dropped hard on CPI and what he had planned to demonstrate kind of went up in the air.

And I think he forgot to hit record or something. So might not be anything from that one.

Attached is a MS Word file that summarizes Toby Crabels book -

Does anyone have the recording of todays third session.

Kind Thanks in advance

All I know if Michael said he was going to post a video in the next hours. Although I'm not sure if it's the session or something else.
