hello all, im new here, I been having a really rough time lately. i'm pretty much at the lowest point in my life i have ever been and i dont know if there's a light at the end of the tunnel like everyone claims. I found the forum due to some ICT mentorship google searches and i was wondering what the mentorship includes if he provides all his videos for free for everyone? i'm willing to try anything at this point.

i understand what you are saying wordd but i have been around the markets for a short while so i didnt mean it in that aspect. I meant it more along the lines of having a mentor would help me progress faster and further than i could by myself which in turn would help fix a ton of issues going on right now for me and family. appreciate the input tho.

why do you feel like that jay?

I fully concur with the comments from 'wordd" and 'Jaymantos'

Trading is not the vehicle to employ to solve issues, both Financial and Emotional.

Sadly, I have to agree, I believe there is no "quick fix" when it comes to learning how to trade.

As for ICT mentorship it seems like it doesn't provide all it promises, doesn't give much more than the free content.

Hi jmd1982,

If you want to learn trading with ICT as your mentor, you made an excellent choice.

The free content on his YouTube channel speaks for itself because he not only freely gives minute details about his approach to trading, he also has numerous examples of him entering trades, managing the same trades, and profitably exiting the same trades. I've actually watched one of his recent videos where he shared one of his losing trades.

I think ICT is a transparent mentor that has given a great deal to the trading community. His style is better than any other I've come across in the past, yet I do not claim to know everything about anything.

I support your decision to find a mentor and ask questions about any mentor you are considering. That's wise of you.

Another thing ICT has repeated recently is the fact he is opening his mentorship for the last and final time in January 2021. The details of what is necessary to join will be given in a video on his YouTube channel around Monday, the 21st of December 2020. In fact, just last week he post some details about it on the community tab on his YouTube channel.

Nonetheless, his free YouTube content is rich with more than enough teaching to make anyone that is willing to put in the necessary work equipped to make their way prosperous. Prosperity by means of trading is not guaranteed because as with anything the one attempting to become prosperous must make their way prosperous. ICT repeatedly says he is not a signal provider, nor does he make trading decisions for his students.

If you choose to have the right attitude about it, and you also decide to work with content offered by ICT, then only you will be able to prove to yourself its true worth. Think of it as if we are all back in school, and in the same class with the same teacher. Some of us will excel as A students. Others among us will not do what the A students did and our results will prove this to us because we will not receive an A grade. Still, others will just roll the dice and end up with even lower grades, if they even pass the class. But it's up to each student to do the work to receive the fruits of their labor. Anyone receiving less than the amount of work cannot blame any other person with fault-finding accusations. Sometimes a teacher and a student just don't fit, and it is best for the student to be taught by someone the student can relate to in a better way, and at other times the teacher has a difficult time attempting to teach certain students. Putting aside extreme conditions anyone could be born into, the majority of us get out of life what we put in to it.

There is nothing wrong with seeking help from a mentor. Why fight the entire war when someone has gone ahead of us and already won many battles, and is willing to take us under his/her wing as we take steps in the direction of our dreams.

Most importantly, if we begin something we must finish it. So, think this thing through. Are you willing to pay the price for the success you seek because it will not come without its own cost?

Best wishes  :D,

PipBait
