Ill get the ball rolling by speculating that the Euro will be making significant lower lows in the near future due to the recent decrease in open interest and commercial net flat position.

I previously made the mistake of reading the COT & OI in relation to the weekly candle instead of the overall trend ;)

Any views?

Just a question. If coms are flat why u think its gonna go lower?

COT is trending up, meaning they could be building a long position, the sell side of the market profile is incomplete, one would expect them to build more of a long position before pushing in to new highs so new lows short to medium term is the probable direction in my opinion.

Look what they did in March from a net flat position, they pushed the market down further whilst accumulating a long position, since then the market went up.

With all that said Ive just read this by Alexander Elder

I may have been confusing falling open interest in a decline with falling open interest in a "slide" (which presumably means a correction)

Therefore, If Im wrong about the market profile (which is highly probable) and the recent sell off was a "slide" then we could at the very least retest the highs and beyond.

The Daily Euro is rallying on increasing open interest indicating a strong up trend.

Can anyone tell me why this weekly chart might support my first prediction of Euro Bearishness?!

So, was it a decline, or a correction, thats the question..

good article!

also worth reading other articles from that site, many very complementary to ICT approach, resulting in another marble dropping into the slot .

The Usage Guide is also worth a read.
