Not in a depreciating way. Thats when the hard part just begins... :D Before that you can say that its a hobby, that you aren't really nervous about it and do it fine and i have income from my job anyways,so no pressure. Now when all your well being depends on it, you'll be a bit more stressed about it. :D
Think of the axiom of trying to walk a 20-30 cm plank on the floor. You'll probably manage fine. Now walk the same distance on the same plank between two tops of skyscrapers(even though you have better shoes and walked the planks a bit more). It'll be even more comfortable. Essentially that's what you've just said.

you're right, I shouldn't see it as a $500 loss (just an example) I should see it as being $99,999,500 more profitable than that guy!

did everyone note the 1370 level on Fiber? on a weekly chart the level is definitely in the category of obvious. I guess the hard part is trusting such "old" levels, or simply not having the long-term perspective in the first place.

just a suggestion about that chart, instead of gauging a "key level"(what does it open? ??? ???) that got nothing to do with it(my opinion at least), just try to put on a monthly pivot and an s/d indi to show you the proper level and the zone. :p That trade was so obvious...
 
I just took 4 scalps on Cable and held them until they stopped out. I used tight stops to ensure they'd get stopped out in a reasonable amount of time.

My account experienced drawdown totalling 1.60% as a result of this event.

I feel no emotions regarding this event.
