Hi Hopiplaka,

Not sure whether you are in today's ICT live session or not. He mentioned about your CDR Indi (BTW thank you for sharing, it's been useful), and he suggested that if it is possible to change the CDR & SD Lines into blocks instead of lines that can extend to 18HR GMT.

Hi omfx,

Unfortunately I am not able to attend the live seminars at that time frame.
But thanks for the feedback!

I will try to incorporate this in version 1.02.

The version I will release soon is able to change the start and end date of the CDR, also show vertical lines for the kill zones + boxes he draws be hand now.

Attached is a screenshot how the next version looks

New version of Central Bank Dealers Range Indicator

Hi All,

I have uploaded a new version of the CDR indicator. You can find it at the first post of this thread.

New functionality:

You can now specify the start time in GMT of the STD lines. Some people only want to see STD lines during LO. You can do this by setting:
 • Start hour in GMT of STD Lines to 6 or 7 (for the sort Kill Zones)
 • Extend the STD lines until what GMT time to 10

Change colours for the STD Buy and Sell Zones

Visualise the different kill zones using vertical lines

Choose between the shorter version of the LO and NYO Kill Zones (7-10 and 12-14 instead of 6-10 and 11-14)
For the next version I will make sure you can also fill the STD zones instead of just plane lines.

For the 3 people who have downloaded this version, I have uploaded v1.02 with the STD rectangle boxes as well :)

Hi All,

I made some small improvements to the indicator.

- when you removed the indi, not all lines were removed correctly
- You now have an option to choose if you want to extend the CBDR lines throughout the day or not

You can download version 1.04 here https://www.dropbox.com/s/lswnl168fjmsz4a/_ICT_CBDR.ex4

By default I have no editing privileges on my posts (only for an hour or so), so the version on post 1 is outdated at the moment.

What are the proper ICT hours for Asian Range. I was drawing asian open to close but it seems different on his charts

Asian range kill zone is defined as 00:00-05:00 GMT

A new day, a new version :)

You know the drill.
Head over to https://www.dropbox.com/s/lswnl168fjmsz4a/_ICT_CBDR.ex4 if you want to display Central bank dealer range midpoint levels as well.

Hi Hopiplaka

Love your indicator, but can't get it to work on indicies, dow (which has overnight data) or ftse/dax which only has data between 2100-0800 gmt. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi Kate,

Great you like the indi. I have tried it on Wheat and it produces some strange results indeed.
That's because there is almost no activity/market closed for the dealer range timings, like you've said.

Currently I have no idea how to fix it, but I will play a bit more with the timings to see if something useful comes up.

I'm up to Version 6 by my saves of this. What are you calling it internally? :)
Version 1.06 was uploaded without much fuzz ;)
We're at 1.07 now :)

Hi Kate,

I think you better wait for the weekly dealer range indicator for commodities.
Using this you can determine the weekly trend and use the Monday/Tuesday Low/High together with the cbdr weekly lines to enter a trade

Re: Central Bank Dealers Range Indicator

The weekly indicator seems to be able to handle bond prices (not yields) as well...
