1M Cable Short

Trading the 1M chart on HTF momentum:

23 pips gained 24 pips actually, just noticed I got some slippage in my favour!

Trade only moved 3 pips against me, so a 5-10 pip stop would have been sufficient.

Being accurate doesn't make having a 5 pip stop any more comfortable... lol ;)

Fiber Long-Remembrance Day

Great LO setup... just didn't think there would be a full day's range because of the Holiday.

You can all share in my disappointment lol

But I have to share the trade because of the entries. Bottom Tick x 2 8)

I've come to view US Holidays as "let's get as much done while the Yanks are away" days.

Which sucks being US-based, as it means it's normally bad to take those days off. :(

i'm starting to think that the Jade and Order Blocks might be the same thing.

if the big boys can't play in the mud without leaving footprints, and we know what their footprints look like.... where can they hide?

I see why those bank traders don't have charts that look like the typical retail neon vomit. They only care where the blocks are, and that's where they do their work. We don't get the true institutional order desk perspective, but with the order block concept... who cares??

I'm not going to be sharing setups nearly as frequently as before. The analysis is so obvious using the order block concepts that outlining the setups like I used to seems silly. The way I'm trading now is as close to naked as I've ever done, and it takes a lot of the stress out of the process.

I was expecting to have a rough time deriving analysis from such a simple technique, but realized quickly there wasn't any learning curve... I already knew what I was doing somehow. As if I had known all along but never really had that final piece to the puzzle.

Anyways, that was rambling and was meant to be. It's an exciting time to be a trader, folks ;)

I was actually trying really hard not to show off, but this just proves to me the futility of what I was doing. It just makes viewers feel bad, and if I was showing $ amounts, it'd make people like you cry ;D

gotta be some juicy stops above 2577. can we reach them today though?

Fiber shorts are trapped. Monday's down day looks like it'll be a future order block... expecting a good rally over the next few days...

Looks more like a Search & Destroy Profile to me. I would expect Sell Stops to be triggered before we continue higher...

previous high and previous low this week are both Asia time slots, which one goes first?

New york & Asia hold the ball from 5 weeks ago with London coming in at a close third, Asia tends to hold the ball for long periods of time on the rare occasion
