brokers offer indices

Thanks for asking are you ok too?
I do not have any experience with those.
But be careful about the broker who offers indices.

Hi bro

Indices, like the S&P 500, NASDAQ, or Dow Jones, are measures of the performance of a section of the stock market. They can be traded through various financial instruments like ETFs, futures contracts, and index funds. There are several popular brokers that offer trading services for these indices. These include but are not limited to: Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Vanguard, TD Ameritrade, E*TRADE, ect.

I trade futures of indices, that are similar to the CFDs you'll probably find around.

I normally trade NQ (some CFD providers name it US100, USNAQ, NASDAQ, NAQ100 or similar). You can find good entries in NQ between 8:00 and 11:00 and from 14:00-16:00 New York time.

Outside these hours it's normally trickier. This applies for all US indices.

I normally trade NQ close to the 10:00 hour mark in New York. If I have not committed by that time it means the day is either delayed or unclear and, I personally just avoid trading that day indices.

Finally, pay attention to red news affecting US as indices can be dramatically altered for a few minutes during the news release.

How can I protect my positions and minimize risks when trading indices during major news releases, especially when red news events are expected to impact the market?
