Broker for beginners?

I tried several brokers for high frequency trading but slippage kills its all. I'm running arbitrage bot. I see some profits with HFM but not sure if it will last long. Could you suggest more broker choices with slow feed?

If you're running an arbitrage bot and looking for brokers with slightly slower execution or more predictable behavior, there aren’t many options left — most are too optimized now. That said, you might want to look into Axi and OANDA.

With Axi, especially through their Select program, you get access to real capital and now both MT4 and MT5 are available. Execution is fast, but depending on time of day and pair, you might still find moments of slippage you can work with — just don’t expect it to last forever.

OANDA is another option — solid reputation, regulated, and known for stable infrastructure. Their feed isn't always the fastest, and some latency traders have said it’s “workable” depending on setup.

Either way, this kind of strategy doesn’t last long on one broker — best to rotate, keep size small, and don’t get too comfortable with any single setup.

How do retail brokers generally tolerate arbitrage traders? What are chances to receive stable profit withdrawals at least small ones?

Most retail brokers tolerate arbitrage only as long as it doesn’t become obvious or damage their liquidity relationships. If the flow looks toxic (consistently hitting stale quotes, abusing latency, etc.), they will either increase slippage, widen spreads, delay execution, or ultimately flag the account. Small and steady withdrawals are usually fine — the issue starts when the strategy scales or becomes too consistent. That’s why rotation and keeping size modest is key.

For small accounts, is it safer to start with a broker offering fixed spreads and negative balance protection, then migrate once execution needs grow? Would love any first-hand notes on withdrawal speed and slippage during news
