Hi guys could you tell me what forex calendar you are using because im getting so confused I now use 3-4 site because they all have different opinion on the news events some rate news *** start while other rate same news * 1 star. How is that possible?

There are many calendars around so I'm not surprised you have found 3 or 4. It doesn't hurt to explore but is probably most helpful to settle on just 1 or perhaps 2. Most brokers offer them and some add bells and whistles but a good generic one that updates very quickly when data is released is this one:

Determination of what constitutes a 3 or 4 star or red or orange grading, or whatever, is entirely subjective and does vary somewhat. Overall there doesn't tend to be that much difference though so it's not a big deal.

If you want to put one on a chart the one attached works on build 600+. Like several others it reads the Forexfactory data.

this supplements and provides a lot more than FX calendars

www.orderflowtrading.com/ForexNews.aspx

EDIT:
imho the best FX calendar is
http://www.forexpeacearmy.com/forex_news_calendar/#/1?timeZone=Australia%2FPerth

although nothing wrong with
www.forexfactory.com/calendar.php

Yep, traderathome does some pretty interesting problem solving. His code is usually worth a glance. :)

Oh, forgot to mention: Be careful with the alarm, it runs with every tick and will drive you nuts. I haven't taken the time to sort it out. Should have...

Am looking over your orderflowtrading site. Looks interesting. How do you use it Rod?

The Alarm was the first thing I deactivated. One of these days I'm going to create an alarm method that only fires every minute or so, although it is on the back-burner as I do not use MT4 alarms as my trade entries are all preset.

Order Flow Trading I use as just another tool, although must admit that I have not used it much recently as I have been distracted by several projects.

I've found that their News is often released before FX Factory, although not enough that it would provide any edge, for that you have to pay up big (well over $100K pa).

They also have some interesting trading articles as well as, Market Briefings, Forex Positioning Reports, and consolidated Bank Research.

The concept of Order Flow is very complementary to the ICT approach, actually basically the same thing. ie I look to enter in areas that I consider (my tools) contain lots of stops. OFT site contains a running commentary of these areas (most often similar to mine) and alerts when the stops have been run. Apparently, if memory serves, they have access to a lot of Order Flow data, which they consolidate.

OFT was created by Darkstar, who previously was a regular on FX Factory forums
http://www.forexfactory.com/darkstar. Most of the material is free. I have had no exposure to the paid material, which is basically Trader Education.

Thanks for that Rod.

I see the 0.9405 AUD stops buildup OFT disclosed may be being run as I type.
