ICT Actual Case Study

No argument from me on that.

However, I suspect that his major issue, Trading and Life, is that he is Emotionally Unstable and Childlike.

Sociopaths nearly always exhibit far more self control.

He definitely has some Psychological issues, Delusional & Narcissistic etc, although does fit into into the definition of a Sociopath.

Basically lets merely call him a Nutter. Probably craves the attention that he never received as a Child.
The sociopath part refers to him being a compulsive liar with no regard for the damage caused to people who believe any of his lies. Its common in salesmen in general, yes. Now he's cocky cause he got shitloads of money from scamming. I suspect he spent lotsa money on education and sought revenge on the education industry for wasting his time and money.

A liar in trading speaks is one who thinks he has found holy grail. A practitioner knows it is all about the long term measuring yard stick. Why not use the trend lines that your mates are so proud of?

Curve fitting -

Valid point, trend lines can be subjective if a person wishes it so.

Equally can also be a great filter, so if the bears are fist punching on gold, let's check the short term guys since we spoke last.

On the 15 min there is a 'turtle soup' as described by ICT, just this last hour, but would I now sell or would the daily and 15min trend line cause some pause?

And since that last post the UK market is open, now not only a turtle soup but a break in MS to the downside as defined by ICT.

I have extended the trend line, so the question is would I now sell on the MS break - or buy at the trend line (1226.50)

Sell into that turtle soup, small risk big reward.

LMFAO

predingg which way price will more is nonsense.
just react, do not predict
suppose you would also hold over the weekend, since you know which way price will move

this ICT shit has corrupted your mind

PS I prefer the Simple Ton approach

Yeah, saw some of that Simple guys videos, not sure why all the cursing.

He has however given us another entry on Gold, "it's all about support turned resistance" is his mantra.

Rod is correct re the weekend, I'm standing in front of an 8 day freight train with only a trend line to defend me.

The only other thing going for the trade is what Simple called BS (context).

I have to weigh whether over the weekend the probability lies in favour of the DPRK making a trade deal with Trump, or that there could be more dud fireworks and whether USD will find a new bunch of buyers.

Now it's the weekend and all good for a laugh :)

Actually my response was more in reference to the supposed Sell on Turtle Soup nonsense. My preference would be to stay Long on a H4 TF, although holding over the weekend would make me nervous, as you alluded

I see Pres Trump is quite active today on twitter - hope he doesn't read Dante's posts and start picking up on that 'c' word that Tom would use randomly :)

Here it is Mikey Huddlestone:

You learned to talk the talk, but you CONSISTENTLY fail to walk the walk.

You learned to scam, but never learned to trade. That is why you are so pathetic...

Just react and not predict? You don't need charts for that! Coin flip will do. 4 hour charts? Haha put a sack over your head.

Quick pull out gold exposure, The Feds is gonna manipulate it to zero OR chubby fooka Kim is gonna start nuclear war. Now where did I put my tin foil hat? Oh yes I sold it to you on eBay with your desperate bidding.

What stop size did you use on those 4hour charts? 5 cents?

You need to stop the blame game, look in the mirror. I hope Freddy is not in the background.

When learning to brawl with the market don't spar with a big brute much bigger than yourself. Even the best coach can only do so much. Learn to move around, opportunistic jabs and forget the one hit victory. You are gonna lose if you meet head on with your brute. Forget king hit aka special no lose tools and strategy.

Off Meds again ?

To sing my song...........
